A driver was taken to the hospital after a vehicle wreck on Wednesday night.
An Oregon State Police report said at about 5:40 p.m. a southbound sedan started hydroplaning near the Edenbower Boulevard exit due to recent rain. The driver was unable to maintain control of the car and it left the roadway, going into the shoulder.
The report said the vehicle slid over 50 feet before striking a boulder that was in a ditch. The driver, a 20-year old woman, was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center where she was treated and released for minor injuries.
