The Myrtle Creek-Tri City Chamber of Commerce gave out its Citizen of the Year awards on Saturday night at Millsite Park.

Those honored included:

*SOCO Coffee Company for Business of the Year

*Denise Ware was selected as Woman of the Year

*Harry Stevens was named Man of the Year

*Kathi Otero was given the Lifetime Achievement Award

*Melodie Branham received the President’s Award

*Dan Van Cleave and Dr. Mark Phillips got Special Recognition Awards

*Chuck Ireland, Steve Johnson, Bill Leming, Shirley Petterson and Lloyd Shields were inducted into the Chamber’s Legacy Circle

The annual awards banquet is normally held the first Saturday in March, but was postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions and changed to an outdoor event open to the public.

Former county commissioner and state representative Susan Morgan was the Master of Ceremonies.
