A Riddle man was jailed following an alleged disturbance on Monday night.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at 9:00 p.m. a call came in saying that Matthew Doll was yelling and screaming at the Chevron station on Pruner Road in Riddle. It was then reported that Doll that had struck a juvenile employee in the head. Doll left in a pickup but was stopped by a deputy on Boyer Road near Riddle by-pass.

The report said that Doll admitted to hitting the juvenile. Doll allegedly smelled heavily of alcohol, was displaying signs of impairment and was extremely confrontational. The 42-year old was transported to Corrections where he refused sobriety tests or to blow in the breathalyzer.

Charges includes DUII, harassment, disorderly conduct, a driving while suspended violation and for refusing a breath test. Bail was set at $31,750. Bail was set at $31,750.
