COVID-19 has claimed 6 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,670, as of Tuesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 307 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 203,671. The new cases include:

*45 in Washington County

*35 each in Clackamas and Malheur counties

*31 in Multnomah County

*27 in Lane County

*21 in Douglas County

*18 in Jackson County

*14 in Umatilla County

*12 in Linn County

*8 in Deschutes County

*7 in Josephine County

*6 each in Clatsop and Columbia counties

*5 in Benton County

*4 each in Coos, Crook, Polk and Yamhill counties

*3 each in Baker, Jefferson, Klamath, Malheur and Union counties

*1 each in Curry, Hood River and Wasco counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 57 to 100. 1 each lived in Douglas, Marion, Union, Washington, Klamath and Deschutes counties.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 172, which is 34 fewer than on Monday. There are 36 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 14 fewer than on Monday.

OHA reported that 17,285 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 6,688 doses were administered on Monday. 10,598 were administered on previous days but were added to the vaccine registry on Monday.
