A Winston woman was cited after allegedly speeding in a school zone on Friday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at 3:30 p.m. the woman’s vehicle was clocked at 37 miles per hour in a 20 mile per hour school zone on West Harvard Avenue by Fir Grove Elementary.

At the time, the DMV computers were down so the driver was cited for speeding. After DMV came back up, the officer ran her driving status and it showed driving while suspended- misdemeanor for a previous DUII. The woman was contacted again and cited for driving while suspended, driving uninsured, and for failure to install ID. She was then released.
