A Roseburg man was jailed following an alleged assault on Saturday.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 4:00 p.m. 35-year old Tyler Gunzenhauser was chasing a victim down the 1600 block of Southeast Cobb Street. A family member of the victim stepped into intervene and Gunzenhauser allegedly punched him, making it difficult to breath out of his left nostril. The assault occurred in the presence of a juvenile.

Gunzenhauser was charged with fourth-degree felony assault. Bail was set at $50,000.
