There are 3 cases of COVID-19 in the South Umpqua School District.

Superintendent Kate McLaughlin said 2 individuals at Coffenberry Middle School have tested positive for COVID-19. McLaughlin said in addition, 1 unrelated individual at South Umpqua High School has also tested positive.

McLaughlin said staff and parents of the children in the cohort where an individual tested positive have been notified, asking that those impacted quarantine and monitor for symptoms.
