1 more person has died related to COVID-19 in Douglas County, and 10 more people have received new positive test results, as of Monday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the new death was a 71-year old man who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on May 16th and passed away on Sunday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 3,690. Of those, 3,521 are people that have received positive test results and 169 are presumptive. 10 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 3 locally and 7 outside the area. 189 people are in isolation. 430 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 619 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. That is a decrease of 28 people since Sunday.

The update said the DCCRT daily updates have now transitioned to weekday updates only. Over the weekend, 15 more people had new positive test results for COVID-19 on Saturday, and 5 more people had new positive test results for COVID-19 on Sunday.
