The PartnerSports Camp will celebrate its 16th year in July.
Ryan Chandler of the Douglas Education Service District said students with disabilities, between ages 8 and 21, are partnered alongside students without disabilities. Chandler said daily activities will take place at or begin at Stewart Park, adjacent to the YMCA.
Campers and partners will participate in activities like basketball, soccer, kickball, fishing, swimming, volleyball, tennis and golf, while building friendships.
Chandler said interested families of campers are invited to fill out an interest survey. He said the answers will help with the planning process.
Camp registration is free thanks to generous sponsors and donors. Registration will be open through June 1st.
