10 more people have received new positive test results for COVID-19 in Douglas County, as of Tuesday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 3,187. Of those, 3,032 are people that have received positive test results and 155 are presumptive. There have been 70 deaths. 14 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 5 locally and 9 outside the area. 105 people are in isolation. 264 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 369 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. That is a decrease of 31 people since Monday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer told News Radio 1240 KQEN that while having 14 local COVID-10 patients hospitalized is not a pandemic high, it is one of the few times, and the first time this year, that the number of those hospitalized exceeded the number of average daily cases.
