MAN JAILED FOR INTERFERING WITH MAKING A POLICE REPORT

An Aloha man was jailed on the charge of interfering with making a report, by Roseburg Police, on Saturday.

An RPD report said at 4:10 p.m. officers responded to a dropped call in the 500 block of Southeast Oak Avenue. The caller was identified and told officers her fiancé was being belligerent while inside their vehicle. The 25-year old suspect allegedly grabbed the victim’s cellphone and caused the call to disconnect. The man was arrested and taken to Corrections.

The man was released on Sunday.
