1 MORE DEATH, 4 NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS FOR COVID-19 IN COUNTY

1 more person has died related to COVID-19 in Douglas County, and 4 more people have received new positive test results, as of Monday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 69th death was a 75-year old man who passed away on November 23rd, with the county being notified of his death last Friday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 3,102. Of those, 2,952 are people that have received positive test results, and 150 are presumptive. 10 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 6 locally and 4 outside the area. 70 people are in isolation. 152 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 222 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. That is a decrease of 31 people since Sunday.
