MYRTLE CREEK MAN CHARGED WITH SEX ABUSE

A Myrtle Creek man is in jail on sex abuse charges.

Sergeant Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said on Monday, April 5th deputies were dispatched to a juvenile female reporting sex abuse which allegedly occurred in Douglas County. Detectives took over the investigation. On Tuesday, 50-year old Floyd Jenkins was arrested. He is being held for first and third-degree sex abuse. Jenkins is detained on $256,250 bail.

O’Dell said the juvenile was known to Jenkins. No further information has been released.
