Douglas Timber Operators will award three $2,500 scholarships this year.

A release said applicants must be residents of Douglas, Coos or Lane counties and have the intention to major in a national-resources related field. Eligible institutions include any public or private accredited post-secondary school in Oregon or out-of-state.
