COVID-19 has claimed 22 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,346, as of Tuesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 267 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 160,050. The new cases include:
*50 in Multnomah County
*34 in Marion County
*28 in Clackamas County
*20 in Washington County
*18 each in Jackson and Umatilla counties
*15 in Deschutes County
*13 each in Douglas and Josephine counties
*12 in Lane County
*7 in Klamath County
*5 each in Curry and Linn counties
*4 in Polk County
*3 each in Benton, Coos, Lincoln, Tillamook and Union counties
*2 each in Crook, Jefferson, Lake and Yamhill counties
*1 each in Harney and Wasco counties
OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 119, which is 1 more than on Monday. There are 25 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 2 more than on Monday.
OHA did not provide updates regarding the number of newly administered first and second doses or cumulative doses administered due to a server outage that affected the ALERT Immunization Information System in Oregon and four other jurisdictions. To date, 1,731,755 doses of vaccines have been delivered to sites across Oregon.
