Aviva Health and the Douglas Education Service District again partnered to offer another invite-only mass vaccination event last Saturday at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

A release said the two organizations provided 740 second-dose COVID-19 vaccines to educators and others who fall within the Oregon Health Authority’s Phase 1a vaccine prioritization schedule and received their first dose at Aviva Health’s January 30th mass vaccination event.

The release said as many as 130 Aviva Health and Douglas ESD staff along with several community volunteers, helped make the sixth mass clinic event a success. Use of the fairgrounds was made possible by the support of the Douglas County Board of Commissioners.
