Two men were jailed by Roseburg Police following a reported disturbance on Sunday night.

Information from RPD said at about 8:00 p.m. 56-year old Lance Cardinal and a 57-year old man engaged in a physical disturbance where they both subjected each other to unwanted physical contact. Cardinal allegedly smacked the other man’s phone out of his hand when the man said he was going to call police. The incident took place in the4 1200 block of Northeast Malheur.

Cardinal was charged with menacing, interfering with making a police report and for harassment. He was detained on $15,000 bail. The second man was charged with harassment and held on $2,500 bail.
