A Myrtle Creek man died in a single vehicle crash on Saturday night.

Sergeant Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 11:25 p.m. dispatchers received reports of the wreck in the 3000 block of Buckhorn Road. O’Dell said deputies arrived on the scene and located a pickup which had left the roadway and rolled.

The driver, identified as 30-year old Brandon Martin, was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle.

O’Dell said alcohol and speed were believed to be contributing factors to the crash.
