SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ACCEPTING MORE PPL APPLICATIONS

The Small Business Administration will process Paycheck Protection Program loan applications exclusively from businesses and nonprofit organizations with fewer than 20 employees, through March 9th.

A release said the SBA has made some recent changes to the PPP program, which it said is a major step towards “…promoting equitable relief”, supporting not only the nation’s smallest businesses and nonprofits, but also minority-owned businesses that may have previously missed out on accessing emergency funds during the pandemic.

Those who think their small business or nonprofit may be eligible for an initial PPP loan or a second draw loan that Congress authorized at the end of 2020 should find out more by going to: https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/loans/coronavirus-relief-options/paycheck-protection-program
