COVID-19 CLAIMS NO MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL REMAINS AT 2,137, AS OF MONDAY

COVID-19 has claimed no more lives, with the state’s death toll remaining at 2,137, as of Monday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 184 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID 19, bringing the state total to 150,464. The new cases include:

*30 in Washington County

*26 in Lane County

*24 in Deschutes County

*23 in Multnomah County

*13 in Douglas County

*7 each in Benton and Clackamas counties

*6 each in Jackson, Marion and Yamhill counties

*5 each in Lake and Union counties

*4 each in Harney, Jefferson and Josephine counties

*3 each in Curry, Polk and Umatilla counties

*1 each in Columbia, Crook, Klamath, Linn and Malheur counties

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 210, which is 3 fewer than on Sunday. There are 53 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 more than on Sunday.

OHA reported that 6,693 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 3,650 doses were administered on February 14th. 3,043 were administered on previous days, but were entered into the vaccine registry on Sunday.

Oregon has now administered a cumulative total of 683,887 first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 885,250 doses of vaccine have been delivered to sites across Oregon.
