Staff with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife are encouraging people to give a year of the outdoors during this holiday season.

Michelle Dennehy from ODFW said 2021 licenses, tags, wildlife area parking permits and conservation stamps are available online at. https://odfw.huntfishoregon.com/login or at license sale agents.

Dennehy said the cost of licenses and tags is the same as it was this year. For residents, an annual fishing license is $44, an annual hunting license if $34.50 and a combination hunting and fishing license is $73.  She said youth licenses remain just $10 for a combo license and $55 for a Youth SportsPac.

The new Group Purchase feature in ODFW’s online licensing system makes it easier to buy for family friends who already hunt or fish in Oregon. Directions on how to use are at: https://myodfw.com/article/how-make-group-purchase-els

Dennehy said other gift ideas include:
