The 4th COVID-19 related death in Douglas County was announced on Monday.
County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said it was an 88-year old man who passed away on Sunday in Roseburg. Dannenhoffer said the man tested positive on September 13th. In the interest of privacy for his family, no additional information is being released.
The update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said there are 3 more people that have received positive test results for COVID-19 and 1 presumptive case, as of Monday. That brings the total number of cases to 214. Of those, 192 are people that have received positive test results and 22 are presumptive. 5 people are currently hospitalized for COVID-19 while 27 are in isolation. 12,311 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in the county.
The next drive through testing clinic with the Douglas Public Health Network will be Tuesday in Roseburg.
