PUBLIC USE CLOSURE OF ODF-MANAGED FOREST LANDS EXTENDED

All Oregon Department of Forestry-managed forests are closed to the public through at least Wednesday.

A release said fire danger remains extreme, air quality is bad to hazardous, and last week’s storms have caused downed trees on roads and other safety problems that need to be cleared.

This covers the Tillamook, Clatsop, Gilchrist, Sun Pass and Santiam state forests, as well as other smaller parcels managed by ODF in Douglas and eight other counties in western Oregon.
