On Thursday, Oregon Governor Kate Brown announced that Washington County can begin entering Phase 1 of reopening on Monday June 1st.
Brown said that’s being done under her framework for building a safe and strong Oregon.
A release said county officials presented their completed application to the Oregon Health Authority and the Governor’s Office to confirm that the county has met Oregon’s safety and preparedness prerequisites for reopening.
Now Multnomah County is the only county in the state that has not qualified for Phase 1 of reopening.
