The Roseburg VA Health Care System is recruiting qualified nursing assistants to assist in the facility’s broad COVID-19 response across its five facilities in southern Oregon.
A release said nursing assistants are needed at the main Roseburg campus, both facilities in Eugene, and clinics in Brookings and North Bend.
Full-time, part-time and intermittent positions are temporary and not to exceed 120 days. However, positions may be extended or made permanent if needed.
Duties include but are not limited to: asking COVID-19 screening questions, taking temperatures, routing patients, staff and visitors to the correct areas of the facility, and providing basic care to the patient or resident including daily living assessments, recording vital signs and documentation.
