THREE INCIDENTS OF PROHIBITED CAMPING IN PARKING GARAGE

Roseburg Police dealt with three incidents of camping in the downtown parking garage on Southeast Rose, on Wednesday.
A report from RPD said at 5:00 p.m. a 69-year old man was found sleeping in a camp he had set up on the first floor of the garage. He was also allegedly drinking a beer. He was cited for prohibited camping and for drinking in public.
At about 10:00 p.m. he was found in the same location, still sleeping in a sleeping bag. He received a second citation for prohibited camping.
At 11:00 p.m. a 37-year old man was found sleeping in a sleeping bag on the second level of the parking garage. He was cited for second degree criminal trespass and for prohibited camping
Both were released after the citations were issued.
