SALVATION ARMY REOPENS THRIFT STORE

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Roseburg has reopened.
Captain Kristy Church said donations are being accepted outside only and pickup services have resumed.
Church said the store is following Phase 1 Reopening guidelines. That includes:
*Having sneeze and face shields at each cashier station.
*The door next to the north end of the store on the south side is identified as one direction only for the entrance. The exit door is the door next to the register.
*Social distancing signs are positioned throughout the store on the walls and on the floor.
*Hand sanitizer is provided on the sales floor.
*Dressing rooms remain closed and unavailable to customers.
*Bathrooms remain locked and will be sanitized after each use.
*Regular sanitizing of the doors, handles, carts and more is conducted throughout the day.
*All employees are required to wear masks.
*It is suggested that customers wear masks if they are able to, for their safety.
Captain Church said the Salvation Army is committed to keeping customers and the community safe.
The store is at 3030 Northeast Stephens. It is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
In addition, the Salvation Army has food boxes available for those in need. They are available Tuesdays through Fridays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Call 541-248-2585 for other assistance needs.
