A Roseburg man was cited for trespassing at Riverside Park on Spruce Street, on Wednesday night.
A report from Roseburg Police said a 68-year old man was laying in a sleeping bag under the east end of the Washington Street Bridge. The report said the man had trash scattered everywhere and even had empty beer bottles thrown over the edge of the walkway down on the riverbank. He had also already been excluded from the downtown exclusion zone.
Citations included second degree criminal trespass and for depositing trash within 100 yards of a waterway. He was released after the citations were issued.
