A woman was jailed following a disorderly conduct incident on Thursday night.
Captain Kurt Sorenson of the Sutherlin Police said at about 10:30 p.m. officers responded to the 1900 block of Recreation Lane where the woman was reportedly belligerent, yelling, and knocking on trailers. When confronted by the park’s manager, she allegedly pulled the woman’s glasses off and pushed her. She then took the manager’s husband’s glasses off and swung at him.
The report said when the officer arrived the woman was sitting on the ground, breaking the glasses apart. She failed to follow the officer’s commands and was placed in handcuffs. She resisted and slipped her cuffs at one point before finally being taken into custody.
The woman, identified as 49-year old Stacy Harris, was charged with second degree counts of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, for harassment and for resisting arrest. Harris was initially detained on $17,500 bail.
