Due to an ongoing theft and probable burglary investigation, staff with the Myrtle Creek Police Department is seeking to identify the owner of a digital camera, with extended lenses.
Detective Kevin Taggart said there were two memory cards with the camera when it was found. Taggart said on one of those cards, there are hundreds of photos of scenes that had been taken along an unknown river. There are also numerous photos of an ocean beach, and a photo of what appears to be the entrance to an office or a residence.
Taggart said it appears that the beach photo was taken on September 25th of 2018. The river photo was taken on September 20th and the photo of the entryway was taken on June 19th of that same year. That information is according to the timestamp from the camera, though its not known it if is accurate.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Myrtle Creek Police.
