Thursday is the third day of this year’s Douglas County Fair.
Rocker Bret Michaels will play at the Cascade Community Credit Union Amphitheater at 7:30 p.m.
There will be entertainment all day at the News Review/Brooke Communications Garden Park Stage.
The main gate opens daily at 7:00 a.m. as 4-H and FFA activities get underway. Commercial buildings open each day at 11:00 as carnival rides and attractions get started at the same time.
Members of the military and veteran’s get in free until 5:00 p.m. when they present their military identification.
Fair goers can get free admission at the main gate when they “Dress a Veggie” from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Buses to the fair operate from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Buses run on the hour and the half-hour from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. They run every 15 minutes starting at 5:00 p.m. Buses are available at Roseburg High, the Douglas County Courthouse and at the First Student lot in Green.
The fair runs through Saturday at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
