Here is an unusual citation from the Roseburg Police logs:
Friday afternoon at about 1:20 p.m. a 36-year old Roseburg man was contacted after allegedly using a permanent marker to draw on a bench, a table, and on the sidewalk at Eagle’s Park in the 700 block of Southeast Jackson. The man was cited for second degree criminal mischief.
The same man was detained Saturday morning at about 9:00 a.m. after reportedly stealing a sweatshirt from Downtown Fitness. He was charged with third degree theft and for a probation violation, and was held without bail.
