Roseburg Police jailed a man for alleged criminal mischief on Tuesday evening.

An RPD report said at 7:00 p.m. the 47-year-old allegedly attempted to enter multiple vehicles near Eagles Park in the 700 block of Southeast Jackson Street. He reportedly punched one of the vehicles, when confronted by bystanders.

The man was found about a block away and was detained. There was minor body damage to one vehicle from the man intentionally punching the door. He was charged with first-degree criminal mischief and was detained without bail.
