MAN DETAINED AT GUN POINT AFTER INCIDENT ON STEWART PARKWAY

A Roseburg man was detained at gunpoint after an incident on Stewart Parkway on Sunday afternoon.
A report from Roseburg Police said at about 1:20 p.m. employees at Sherm’s reported seeing a man waving a handgun around a group of kids who were washing cars. The man’s actions alarmed several people and he was taken into custody. The pistol turned out to be a BB gun, but it was also discovered that the suspect had failed to update his sex offender registration as required.
35-year old Lance Teuteberg was charged with failure to register as a sex offender and for second-degree disorderly conduct. He was initially detained on $52,500 bail.
