Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged felony count of strangulation on Tuesday night.

An RPD report said at 11:50 p.m. the 28-year-old allegedly choked and bit a victim at a residence in the 400 block of Northeast Hewitt Avenue.  He was taken into custody and also charged with harassment. The man was detained without bail.
