A woman was taken to the hospital following a wreck on Saturday.

An Oregon State Police report said just after 12:50 p.m. the operator of a sedan failed to negotiate a curve on Highway 138W near Glide. The vehicle left the right shoulder of the roadway and struck a tree. It then went airborne across a creek and struck a second tree before coming to rest in the middle of the creek.

The elderly driver was extricated from the vehicle and transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. She is listed in fair condition at last check, according to a hospital spokesperson. The sedan sustained heavy damage and air bag deployment.
