A White City man was jailed on sex crime charges by the Winston Police Department on Thursday.

A release said on May 26th, the WPD received a tip that an adult male was speaking with a minor child over social media. Officers investigated the tip and learned that 22-year old Dayton Foster, was solicitating a 14-year old female to engage in sexual contact. Officers later learned that the man was living in White City and traveled to his house where he was taken into custody and transported back to the Douglas County Jail.

Foster was charged with luring a minor and for online sexual corruption of a minor in the second-degree. He was detained without bail.
