Saving Grace Pet Adoption Center is holding a special adoption event coming soon.

Executive Director Megan Gram said that BISSELL Pet Foundation, a national animal welfare organization dedicated to ending pet homelessness, has the “Empty the Shelters – Holiday Hope” event December 1st through December 11th. Gram said that BISSELL sponsors reduced adoption fees of $50 or less per cat or dog nationwide. The event will take place in more than 275 shelters in 43 states.

Gram said that Saving Grace has participated in four of these events this year. She said all of them have had a significant impact on the shelter population. Gram said, “The Holiday Empty The Shelters event is especially significant because our team would like nothing more for Christmas this year than to see all our adoptable pets in new loving homes”.
