CITY COUNCIL APPROVES ALL AGENDA ITEMS

The Roseburg City Council approved all items on its agenda during a Monday night meeting.

Councilors authorized an agreement with Umpqua Valley Development Corporation for its work on the Southern Oregon Medical Workforce Center in the amount of $300,460 for the current fiscal year.

The council authorized an amendment to the contract with the S&B James Company for the demolition and abatement phase of the Gary Leif Navigation Center Renovation Project for $186,150.

Resolutions regarding adding a parking permit fee for the Rose Street Parking Lot, central dispensing water fees and authorizing the submission of a grant application and Letter of Commitment for the 2022 Fire Service Capacity Program were all approved.

Brandon Pearsall was appointed to the Public Works Commission.

The meeting lasted for just under one hour.
