The race for governor is considered too close to call: Democrat Tina Kotek has a slight lead over Republican Christine Drazan, 46 percent to 45 percent. Nonaffiliated candidate Betsy Johnson has 9 percent of the vote. In Douglas County, Drazan has a wide lead with 68 percent of the vote to 22 percent for Kotek. Johnson claimed 8 percent

Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor and Industries:

Christina Stephenson is ahead of Cheri Helt by a margin of 60 percent to 39 percent. In Douglas County, Helt leads Stephenson 54 percent to 46 percent

Statewide ballot measures:

Measure 111: Amends the Oregon Constitution to say the state must ensure affordable healthcare access, balanced against requirements to fund school and other essential services is narrowly passing 50 percent to 50 percent. The number of voters in favor is ahead by just under 13,000 votes statewide. In Douglas County, the question is being defeated 65 percent to 35 percent

Measure 112: Amends the Oregon Constitution to remove language allowing slavery and involuntary servitude as punishment for crime is passing 54 percent in favor to 46 percent opposed. In Douglas County, the measure is being defeated 67.5 percent to 32.5 percent

Measure 113: Amends the Oregon Constitution to say state legislators with ten unexcused absences from floor sessions are disqualified from holding the next term of office is passing 68 percent to 32 percent. In Douglas County, the question is passing 58 percent to 42 percent

Measure 114: Requires a permit to acquire firearms; police maintain a permit/firearm data base; criminally prohibits certain ammunition magazines is ahead 50.38 percent in favor to 49.62 percent opposed. In Douglas County, the measure is losing 73 percent opposed to 27 percent in favor
