Tuesday is the deadline for the November General Election.

Around Oregon, voters will be electing a U.S. Senator, members of the U.S. House, a governor, a state labor commissioner, state representatives and state senators, and deciding on four statewide ballot measures. In Douglas County, voters will weigh in on whether to allow psilocybin related businesses to operate in unincorporated areas of the county. Voters in six cities will vote on similar questions. Voters will select from those seeking to serve as a board member of the Douglas Soil and Water Conservation District, and the Umpqua Soil and Water Conservation District. Voters in some cities will choose members of their city council. Voters in the North Douglas County Fire and EMS District will vote on a five-year operating levy.

There is also an advisory measure concerning the restoration of full services at the Roseburg VA Medical Center.

News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN will provide information when the first returns come in around 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. Due to a change in Oregon law, ballots that are postmarked by Tuesday, have seven days to be returned to the local election office. That means some races or measures may not be decided for a longer period of time.
