Heavy rain led to a single vehicle wreck near Scottsburg, Friday night.

An Oregon State Police report said at just after 10:15 p.m. a sedan was traveling west on Highway 38 when it left the roadway. The driver said she believed that she had been driving too fast for the conditions. The vehicle hit a heavy patch of rain and hydroplaned off the roadway. The driver was not injured but the sedan had to be towed due to the amount of damage.
