Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged assault incident Thursday night.

An RPD report said just after 9:00 p.m. an investigation substantiated that the suspect had grabbed and pulled a victim’s hair, causing substantial pain. The incident took place in the 200 block of Northeast Frontier Lane.

The suspect was charged with fourth-degree assault and for harassment. Bail was set at $8,750.
