NEARLY 35 PERCENT OF VOTERS HAVE CAST A BALLOT LOCALLY

Nearly 35 percent of local registered voters have cast a ballot in the November General Election.

Douglas County Clerk Daniel Loomis said the 30,459 ballots that have been received is 1.34 percent ahead of the participation rate for the same time in the 2018 November General Election.

Ballots must be cast by 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday November 8th. They can be mailed back in or taken to any official ballot drop site. A list of local sites is linked: https://douglascounty-oregon.us/179/Official-Drop-Site-Locations
