November 1, 2022 4:00 p.m.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday for mountain areas in portions of southern Oregon.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said the Advisory area includes Crater Lake, Diamond Lake, the South Central and Southern Oregon Cascades and the Siskiyou Mountains; and for portions of highways in those areas.

Snow showers with additional accumulations of 5 to 10 inches are expected.

Forecasters said travel could be difficult. Drivers should slow down and allow extra time to reach their destination. Carry tire chains and be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities.
