Jerry Bruce Community Campus partner organizations will hold a Trunk or Treat event for local families on Saturday, October 22nd.

The Family Development Center, Fish Food Pantry, Umpqua Homes Incorporated, United Community Action Network and Aviva Health will all participate. The event will be in the Aviva parking lot on Northeast Kenneth Ford Drive, just north of Costco.

More than thirty staff members from the organizations will volunteer their time to hand out store-purchased, individually wrapped candy or toys to children and families who come to the event, which will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Aviva Health CEO KC Bolton hopes to turn the Trunk or Treat into an annual event, and to offer other events for families to enjoy throughout the year as well. The entire Aviva Health parking lot on the west side of the facility will be closed to vehicle traffic while the event takes place. Those attending can park in the Family Development Center parking lot or on the east side of the Aviva Health building.
