Sutherlin Police jailed a man on sex crime charges Saturday.

An SPD report said 23-year old Nathaniel Douglass is suspected of having an online sexual relationship with a child and then arranging to meet that child for the purposes of having sex. Douglass was taken into custody shortly after 5:00 p.m.

He was charged with first and second-degree counts of online sexual corruption of a child, and with luring a minor. Bail is set at $200,000.

No further information was released by SPD.
