One more person has died related to COVID-19 in Douglas County and there have been 156 new cases in the week ending on Wednesday.
The Douglas County COVID-19 Weekly Recap said 142 of the new cases received positive test results and 14 were presumptive. The county’s 401st COVID-19 related death was a 92-year old man who died in April. County health officials were notified of his death by Oregon Vital Records this week. He was fully vaccinated and up to date.
8 people are hospitalized for COVID-19 in the county and 5 of those are not fully vaccinated.
