The Oregon Koi & Watergarden Society will have its local pond tour on Saturday June 11th.
Organizers say it is an opportunity to visit with pond owners and learn more about having a pond and what is involved.
More than a half dozen ponds will be featured ranging from a huge, newly built design down to tiny garden ponds, all with live Koi.
At the first pond, there will be Koi for sale. These are donated and rescued fish.
Tickets are $5 for adults, with children admitted for free. They are available at the Umpqua Valley Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings. Tickets can also be purchased at Sherm’s Thunderbird Market on the morning of the tour. A list of ponds will be provided when tickets are purchased. Club memberships are available too.
