Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Tuesday.
An RPD report said just after 6:15 p.m. officers responded to the Oak Street Bridge following multiple calls that a man was walking back and forth into traffic and stepping over the railing to look at the water. Once on the scene, officers saw the 42-year old standing next to the railing by the left lane. When officers tried to make contact with him, the suspect was very agitated and erratic. Officers were able to place the man under arrest without incident.
The suspect was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $2,500.
